2025, on the eve of our 35th anniversary

With the pandemic, various supply chain challenges, and growth hurdles, we were a bit overwhelmed and ended up skipping our anniversary… twice! That’s right, we’ve been here since 1990!

About Boutiques Ski Vélo and Vincent Renaud:
At 13 years old, this young man began showing an interest in sharing his passion for skiing. In 1990, after 10 years of selling used skis from his parents’ basement, he opened his first shop at 1773 Sherbrooke Street, in Magog.

A year and a half later, the shop moved to 49 Sherbrooke Street, across from the fire station in Magog, where it remained until 2000. In the spring of 2000, the business relocated to the former Métro grocery store premises on Principal West Street.

Our Mont Orford store was launched in September 2008. We have some exciting updates to share!

Since the very beginning, Vincent Renaud has been committed to properly equipping his customers. His mantra, “Because the right gear matters,” perfectly reflects his dedication to offering his clientele the very best on the market.

The years have passed, trends have changed, new technologies have emerged, and our logo has evolved. One thing is for certain—our passion remains the same!

This year marks our 35th anniversary! We are proud of our roots, our region, and our community since 1990. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you throughout the year.

We are also thrilled to confirm that the Renaud family and the current team will continue this adventure with passion and commitment. Together, we look to the future, preparing for the decades ahead with enthusiasm and determination!
