HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT BIKE SIZE?

What to do if you are in between two sizes?

Technically, if your measurements fall between two sizes on a sizing chart (for example, you could fit a small and a medium bike), there is no need to worry. It simply means you can get enough adjustments on both bikes and be comfortable in each size. Of course, chances are that you will feel better on one over the other, and the best way to know which one fits your needs best is to come and try it in-store.

Should you consider your total height or your inseam length measurement to choose your frame size?

Your total height is the most important measurement when it comes to choosing your bike frame size. However, the inseam measurement will give you the correct seat post adjustment. Indeed, the seat post is much easier to adjust than the frame length. For example, the size chart would recommend a 5 feet 9 inches tall person to buy a 54cm bike. Although this person could have a 52 cm inseam and smaller legs, we would still recommend the 54 frame because: First, there is a good chance that she also has a longer upper body and torso meaning that she will need a longer top tube. Second, it will then be easier to adjust the seat post accordingly.
