SPECIALIZED MTB RECON 1.0 SHOES

With the Recon 1.0, our goal was simple enough: to bring the performance of the S-Works Recon to this more-than-accessible shoe. Easier said than done, but we’ve succeeded in creating a shoe that’s durable and has the comfort and efficiency of Body Geometry. So yes, we can say: mission accomplished.
 
Using our exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outsole has a TPU injected forefoot that allows for natural foot movement when walking or carrying, while maintaining a 6.0 stiffness rating for pedaling efficiency. The Recon 1.0 plays a double game: efficiency on the pedals while maintaining comfort and confidence off the bike.
 
To provide a perfect grip off the bike, on wet or dry ground, gravel or dirt, we covered the nylon outsole with our SlipNot compound. We also raised the heel for an even more natural feel when walking.
 
Three Velcro closures make the Recon 1.0 easy to put on and create the perfect fit for performance and comfort on any playing field.
