Ah, the road less traveled, the freedom, the adventure, the experiences. The key to getting there is having the right gear for the job. Whether you’re looking to get out there and ride, tour to the unknown, or ride a trail, we’ve got the bikes and gear you need. Your story is out there. Go get it.
Your solution: The gravel bike!
Because, to find yourself, you sometimes have to get lost. Our adventure bikes will accompany you on all your escapades, regardless of the terrain and conditions. A gravel bike is a type of road bike designed to ride on unpaved surfaces such as dirt roads, gravel, unpaved bike paths and forest trails.
Of course, you can always go to the trouble of trying to adapt your cross-country bike into something a little more “road-capable” (whatever that means to you). Or you can try to modify your road bike into a more “adventure-ready” version, but why waste your time when you can get a turnkey solution.

The gravel bike combines performance, handling, comfort, strength and more. It’s a machine designed for all terrains. A bike that redefines the notion of “road”. Gravel bikes look a lot like traditional road bikes, but they have wider, notched tires, different frame geometry for better stability on uneven surfaces, disc brakes for more powerful braking, and a more versatile drivetrain with lower gears to make climbing steep hills easier. Gravel bikes are very versatile and can be used for a variety of activities, such as hiking, weekend trips, gravel runs, adventure trips and even commuting.
With this bike, you’ll have fun from one end of the bike spectrum to the other. A true gem of a design that gives you the same ease in tackling the most winding gravel roads as it does in aggressively crushing the miles on the road.
Your only concern: Remember to bring your lunch. Your gravel bike takes care of the rest.
Why choose this type of bike?
- It is the most versatile bike in any category. At equal weight, the gravel crushes the competition in terms of versatility. It promises ease, speed and pedaling pleasure on uphill, downhill and rolling terrain. A true all-terrain bike.
- It can be fitted on a wide variety of tires thanks to its good clearance. This is a considerable and economical advantage. In fact, it’s much cheaper to buy two pairs of tires for the same bike than to have to buy a second bike. You can easily fit your gravel bike with 28mm and up to 52mm tires. As for wheel sizes, most gravel bikes use 700c wheels, the standard size for road bikes, although some models use 650b wheels for better handling and control on rough terrain.
- It offers a wide variety of accessories and equipment to suit your style. Again, this is a practical and economical advantage. When you buy it, the bike is already equipped with performance and versatility (multitude of rack inserts, efficient storage, quality components, etc.). The possibilities of adding or adjusting the equipment to improve your bike are infinite.
- Its geometry is optimal for all conditions. The gravel bike is more permissive and flexible than the road bike while being more aggressive and rigid than the mountain bike. Moreover, it is easy to adjust the positioning of the bike to suit your needs as you ride.
- The gravel bike is simply fun. Because the fun starts where the road ends. The gravel bike lets you have fun at all levels of the cycling spectrum, from road to mountain. All you have to do is choose your playground!
During the same outing and with the same pleasure of riding on:
- Winding asphalt roads
- Wide unpaved trails such as La Route verte
- Small roads with damaged surfaces (90% of roads in Quebec)
- Major forest roads on the SEPAQ network or others
- Narrow roads irregularly maintained … the countryside and its charm! See the routes
