- All the travel in the world is useless without the proper adjustment and kinematics of the damper. For the new design of the Stumpjumper EVO, we gave priority to kinematic performance. By applying the lessons learned from the development of the Enduro, and then adding over 1,000 hours of field and lab development, we not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, we made it more capable, more agile and more lively. We’ve increased the anti-squat, so the suspension is more resistant to pedal tilt, and we’ve further improved performance in right-angle impacts. Conclusion? This thing tears up the trails, not the legs.
- The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is our most progressive to date. Long, low, relaxed, short offset fork, steeper seat tube angle – these are the requirements of modern progressive riding. But not everyone rides the same way, which is why the geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is fully adjustable with six different settings. You can adjust the height of the BB by 10 mm, you can adjust your head angle by two degrees, and you can make these adjustments independently of each other. Finally, if you want to go into “mullet” mode, the EVO allows you to use a 27.5″ rear wheel combined with a 29″ front wheel.

So whether you’re on an S1 or need an S6, you’ll enjoy the same riding characteristics: balanced front and rear stability and stiffness, all with the lightest possible weight.
- SWAT™ – When we introduced the SWAT™ hatch on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we increased the available storage space. With the new Stumpjumper, we kept the same design features, but increased the volume and added a SWAT™ pocket, which gives you an extra 65 cl of water, hidden in your down tube.
